Presbyterian Support South Canterbury (PSSC) is the region’s largest provider of
social services, dedicated to supporting individuals and families across all stages of
life. With over 107 years of service, PSSC offers a wide range of care through two
key service arms: Enliven and Family Works.
Enliven supports older people and those with disabilities through residential care,
home-based services, and day programmes that promote independence, dignity, and
social connection. Family Works provides strengths-based support for children,
young people, and families, including counselling, social work, parenting
programmes, and foodbank services.
PSSC is deeply embedded in the local community, working alongside schools,
families, and individuals to build resilience, promote wellbeing, and create lasting
positive change. Whether it’s helping a child thrive at school, supporting an elder to
live independently, or guiding families through tough times, PSSC is committed to
making South Canterbury a stronger, more connected place for everyone.
