Mokihi Hauora

Mōkihi Hauora is a newly formed Charitable trust that started operations on July 1st, 2023. Formed through the partnership of two established local charitable trusts, Timaru Mental Health Support Trust, and Caroline House.

Mōkihi Hauora will deliver the services previously delivered by the two original trusts; we provide an activity-based service for people with Mental illness, employment support for those people who experience mental illness and are ready to return to the workforce and offer services to people experiencing distress related to substance misuse.

We offer individual sessions, recovery groups, outreach programmes to those in more rural areas and education and support programs to those affected by addiction.

We also have a residential house where those experiencing issues related to substance misuse can reside while recovering from their addiction.
